hi guys, can anyone advise me on a clutch for my rst- looking to spend around £150-200 the engine is aprox running 180bhp.
is the performance organic clutch kit any good? any help would be appreciated!
try to visit demontweeks and have a look, think it is around 250.
IMO think you will have best value for money with helix, paddle clutches are even more expensive than helix.
Cheers
yeh your right there mate ap or helix it is,
just put the engine into a mk4 van, my mate said to change it when engine was out but me being a tight arse didn`t listen - went for first run in it last nite it fukt, well not slipping just hard to find the gears,
well if u stick in a ap/helix you wont need to worry about at again any time soon unless you go for over 200bhp my ap held on for a while after i got 226 bhp in my old one, was still in there when i sold it too, never had a helix but heard they are very good
alcon 6 paddle with standard clutch cover will take everything you can throw at it they have even been used with a stage 3 cossie engine used in front wheel drive format running well over 300bhp with torque to match without problems can be had for less than £200
