there is a massive market for RS parts nowadays as so many items are almost impossible to locate without paying telephone numbers ,I suggest all owners of decent cars remove pics and details of where your car is kept as thiefs can also access passionford ,rsoc to find your car etc

 

The car is well known to the RSOC. It is visually standard with exception of being slightly lowered and a 4" Scorpian exhaust (Which is loud due to being debaffled). Car is currently in a mild state of tune, does run the 16i brake servo brace to inner wing which isnt the norm on many S1's.

It is in very good condition and well loved/looked after by its current owner.

Car was taken from a driveway at around 8.30pm near Lichfield, Staffordshire. Neighbours heard the car 'roar' away.

Before it is asked the car was adequately immobilised.

Sadly I think a car like that can't be left anywhere but in a garage nowadays, such a shame

what alarm/immobilisor was it?? if they managed to get it running then it would be useful to know so others can update thier systems to something more modern.

 

Such motors should have trackers, i no i would have one!

Sickening to see another, but people really need to keep these cars tucked away, if you arent it in, then it should be garaged and alarmed.

When I had mine it got a lot of attention, as a result I NEVER left it parked anywhere and never put it on the drive, always went into the garage as you just never know who is eyeing it up.

Exactly why i don't use mine and it stays in the garage; sad but true. Keep thinking about selling it but don't even want to advertise it because of potential attention from light fingered c**ts as there's too much of that going on these days ..... they want incinerating!

I was a victim myself last year when three scrotes nicked my twenty year old CBR600. Amazingly I got it back but the twats had dropped it on both sides so it cost me a respray, alarm & immobiliser and is now ground-anchored with a top notch chain and padlock.

Cossie has immobiliser, Disklok and Pedalok (remember them) if left on it's own anywhere.

As others have said these arseholes need setting on fire.

 

my old 3 door had disklok, imobiliser, alarm, in a garage behind electronic gates and they still got it out, lets hope for a happy ending with this S1 but its not looking good.

 

Keep an eye on Ebay mate look through parts and that see if ya recognize anything on there?? see if any one on here has lost there number plates?.
