Default best sapp cos trackday tyre

i have a sapphire cosworth
my wheel size 7j17 inch et40 and having 0,5cm spacers
can i fit 215-45-17inch toyo r888 tyre or are these to big and will they run my arches??

or does anyone have any good experiants with other tyre brand
i run some sprint/trackdays and regulair drives with my car

any experiance with the yoko parada spec 2
are these any good ?????

I think they're ok, but I'd rather have the r888.
Have used them on my escos for track driving. They are hopeless unless it's 100% dry and they start to go soft after 4-5 hard laps.. Then cool them down for a lap or two before good again.

215 45 17s would be a bit big I reckon mate there tight enough with 215 40 17s even.

yeh i also tought that but they dont make them in 40 so i orderd some parada spec 2

I think there more a road tyre,these loads of track tyre out there loas of compounds,parada spec 2 look a pretty tread pattern but are no track tyre

they do 205/40/17 r888s i have them on the front of mine then 215/45/17s on the rear

yokohama AO48 all the way, they cost more than r888's but will last longer,but i have just read that they will be outlawed next year due standards changing for minimum performance in the wet.

Parada'a are crap on the road and track!
Yokohama a048r'S Are the best track tyre i have used.
I have just tried Yokohama AD08's on a couple of track days (these are inbetween a track and road tyre) and found them to be very good,Not quite as grippy in the dry as tracktyres but far far better in the wet.
