European Ford Event is going ahead !!

After a lot of struggle with authorities we have the permits to do a event with slalom and circuit.

Wasn't going to go because of lack of track type action, but now I'm gearing up for it

The hotel is booked, just need to sort my tunnel crossing.

 

what hotel you booked and how much was it?

 

I am staying in the Hotel Almere which is a new Valk hotel http://www.hotelalmere.nl/en/rooms. It cost €295 for three nights including breakfast from Saturday. It is not the closest, but it opened in January and I stayed there recently so can recomend it. It is about a 20 minute train journey to Amsterdam and the same to Lleystad. They all speak English which is good as my Dutch is limited.

Last year we had a caravan for a week for €360 which was 3 miles from the showground.

I understand some of the words, I just find it difficult to speak it. I will get some lessons from Trynke.
