2.0 mondeo throttle body on a 1.8 Gti escort
Has anyone fitted the 2.0 mondeo throttle body to a 1.8 zetec?
I have one that I picked up from a local breaker together with cams and fuel rail, but it looks to me as if maybe the escort throttle cable won't be long enough
Basically I need to know whether I'll have to use a different throttle cable, if so which one
Just figure it'll save time'n messing about if I know beforehand rather than attempt the change and find the cable that's on there ain't long enough

Yep it will fit. If you trace the throttle cable back towards the bulkhead, there is a black plastic thing, it has a metal clip on it, take the clip off then the cable can be lightened and loosened. Put the clip back on. Job done.
