RS turbo rust areas
im looking to buy a S2 turbo,
can some one give me a few pointers where to look for rust,
i know the battery tray seems to be a common place is there any more
problem areas ?

Also check ABOVE the battery+ fuse box (think its scuttle pannel) in the boot floor aswell. also the doors at the top next to the wing mirrors, but thats a we bit obvious to the eye. have fun finding a good one mate theres not alot left

its a MUST i sheled out £450 on welding on my old FRST
it will never be totally rust free theres always a bit here and there , just weigh it up good for bad

Never really seen them go round the petrol cap, fiesta's however are a different story for that!
Also check behind the sunroof on the roof, can bubble, bootlid, where the rubbers hold the glass, also along the front by the windscreen, u need to spend a good hour or more looking really make sure u look everywhere, have the sunroof up and fully open and look down it for tell tale signs.... etc.
