My mates missus was on telly today, quiz show she did not do very well but go it on video tape. However would like to put this onto the pc as a mpeg or dvd, is there a way of doing this.

i have laptop with firewire, s-video, editing software, digital camcorder, can any of these be used

Thanks for your help, but I have the software for the camcorder. I need to know if its possible to get the video from my video player and record it onto the pc
