Got myself 2 of them so would like to put original one on a ltd miles classic policy if possibe!

Or should i just lube up now ready for the insurance companies to shaft me as usual

Classic insurence is more about your circumstances than the car, eg than the car, eg usually must be a second car, limited mileage, kept in a garage, no or few mods, usually over 30's etc

 

sorry but thats not exactly true - i was insured on my 3dr cossie on classic with HIC. Car was modified to 400bhp, all mods declared, was under 30years of age at the time, the car was kept on the drive and limited to 6k a year.

 

the guy I use is part of the RSOC and runs www.needtoinsure.co.uk and got my 1996 rs2000 4x4 on agreed value classic insurance which was a fantastic price and I am mega happy with his service ask for Paul

yeah - we were just discussing RS Turbo replicas top bloke but still waiting on a call back.

 

Paul from NeedToInsure has just got back to me for my saph insurance and with all mods declared the quote was only £526 fully comp and limited to 5k a year - proper WELL HAPPY with that as the lowest i ever had my 3dr cossie insured with HIC was around £750 on classic back in 2006-7.
