Hi guys,

Im planning on getting som 18" wheels for my saph, but would like to know what the optimal ET would be, so that the wheels DO NOT hit the arches but still look good and not to far "inside" the arches.

I believe the standard ET for the 15" OE wheels is 40 ? ...

Focus Rs rims fit with et42 they are 8J wide with a 215/35/18 tyre

I was going to have mine machined so that they tuck in more,
on measuring up i realise that because they are 8.5 wide if i do that then the inners will touch? It is ok at the moment.
Therefore i opted to modify other areas i.e. Arches and suspension instead.
Let us know how you get on, i would be interested in this also.
