my car wont boost past 0 psi ????

Default my car wont boost past 0 psi ????

hi having probs with my car, just finished building my car other day and took it to mot station. on the way i found that as soon as my gauge hits 0 psi the needle flickers up n down rapidly, and just wont boost. i can hear the turbo winding up but it just holds back and judders?
anybody got anyideas as to what this could be?

boost leak check all your pipes are tight.
If rs turbo the one off the bottom of the turbo up against the gearbox is quite common for coming loose.

i had the same prob when i built mine only 3 months back.

turned out to be the water temp sensor,
under the back of the inlet mani.

not faulty, but the wrong coler plug for it.
from memory, it was a brone sensor, and the black plug made it run fine.
ran like yours with brone plug pluged into censor.

Colers could be wrong, might be the other way round, black/brone.
Just change the plug on censor for the spaer one back there.

ive tightened up all hoses but it isnt making any difference
any other ideas?

is the actuator set right,my mate had a similer problem ,his would'nt pull just here the turbo winding up ,then judder like fuck
his actuator was ajusted to max, took it off & was nackard, got a new one & was fine

Yeah thats exactly wat mine is doing! Ill av to get a new actuator, I got a t3 with a actuator that looks like an ancient standard one so thats prob worth a look lol. Cheers mate

Boosting now it was the boost hose after all. Thanks for help guys
