Here for sale i have my 1986 3dr sierra cosworth 2.0 l 16 v turbo.I have owned this car for near on 10 years and in that time i have spent vast amounts of money on it but now the time has come to part with her.

The engine spec is very comprehensive and has all the right bits for a strong and reliable engine what it has had is a stage 3 gas flowed and ported head bd10 cams group a head gasket and every gasket is a cometic one which are alot better than standard the block is a 200 block and has cosworth low comp pistons h section rods and the bottom end has been balanced the oil pump is a high pressure one it has a lightened and balanced flywheel the turbo has done approx 1500 miles and is a t38 with a -68 exhaust which works really well and has a 247 shaft so is pretty bomb proof the engine had a freshen up approx 1500 miles ago and had new gaskets piston rings ina tappets group a head gasket headbolts valve stem seals new alternator new fuel tank and the rear beam and arms are all freshly powder coated a 3inch stainless steel mongoose exhaust all alloy tanks tarcal strut brace rs 500 alloy intercooler and alloy radiator it has coilovers all around the gear box is mint and is very tight and positive engine mounts are the collins performance billet alloy ones and the discs are ebc grooved and dimpled and ebc yellow stuff pads which are as new and also has all new calipers front and rear the rears are the uprated vented ones i have piles of history which does not come close to what has been spent as i owned my own garage and this car just had what it needed as you can see from the pics its a nice everyday driver and ultra reliable running greens on a level 6 ecu with collins performance chip giving around 340 bhp even has the original revs rfx that were produced back in the day specially for the 3dr the car probably needs paint and i did think about having it done before i sold it but decided id just lower my price accordingly the car will be sold with 12 months mot the interior is very good except it has suffered with the cracked dash as have most 80s fords and gravity has got to the roof lining it also has a collins boost gauge ford racing oil pressure gauge andturbo timer and voltmeter and 2 stage boost this car will last years and give the potential new owner as many years of fun as it has me also i have quite alot of spares diff trim ect that i will probably let go with the car please any questions please dont hesitate to ask and i will answer all questions to the very best of my knowledge thanks for taking the time to read my ad and if you require any more pics ill be happy to send whatever you require

Makes me sick that there are cars like this out there, and I bought a Fiesta ST over a year ago for 8k.. (now worth about 3 no doubt!)

Cheers for the positive feedback lads I know it's a little on the cheap side but that's been fair and allowing for the paint that it needs but happy to know you lot think it's a nice example considering it's used every day and has been for near on 10 years

 

car has gone to the 1st person to come and see it and get strapped in haha,i have taken px with a st170 focus and cash, so i am sure i will be selling that soon as i am after a merc vito for work , for now anyway haha
