At the moment I have a standard T3 turbo and standard original air filter box linked by a hose of 60mm inside diameter. In the future i will upgrade to a T34 turbo (but only once my T3 is totally knackered) will the 60mm hose that I have be suitable for a T34 or will I require a bigger inside diameter hose?
The reason I ask is that I want to buy a cone filter to use on my T3 but I don't want to find out that the neck of it will be too small if I have to fit a larger hose when I eventually get a T34, if that's the case I will just stick with the original air box until I get the T34.

Buy your large cone filter now and a hose suitable for your future T34 then fit it to your T3 by cutting a small band off your T3 hose slid that onto your turbo then slide the T34 hose over the top then your clamp. Job done plus your ready for when you get your T34.
