I'm having real trouble with my car, series 2. At first it wouldn't start, was told it was my metering unit so I sourced another 1 and fitted it, it started up first time and took it for a spin, once I was back it was idling high so went to adjust it and now it won't start unless I physically open the metering unit flap myself, am I missing something? Any help would be great.

 

Sounds like you need a decent setup and tune fella, the metering unit is not going to set its self up, let alone the rest of the components that would all require adjustments.
