gayboy martins got a ap fast road clutch brand new .....
but 6 paddles will be like mine

Alcon 6 paddle plate with alcon cover, very smooth, and progressive, not as good as std progression wise but still good.

You have to be careful with "std" cover there are two types/makes, one is not going to cope whilst the other type is ok to use, can't remember which is which though!!

I had a standard AP clutch friction plate from Ford (the Original AP ones not the ones that are supplied now) and a heavy duty cover - 380bhp and no splipping at all - Very nice feel and easy on the leg/ankle too

Whatever you do, if you add a hydraulic conversion it helps enormously with pedal effort.

so some people get away with a standard clutch and others don't?
I need a new one and would rather not have to pay out three times as much for an Alcon if a standard clutch would be ok, plus it drive alot nicer..

cost me 30quid for a new friction plate from woodford garage off ebay as well i reused my old pressure plate as it was in very good condition

great choice! had an uprated ap organic disc and std type sachs plate when i ran stg 3, looked mint 2 summers later with plenty of racenights and trackdays.
