Default ST170 Turbo Build

Hello everyone,

I think its time to start my thread in regard to the turbo build I'm doing. The car was a 1.6 to start. Decided to do a swap for an ST engine (got a donor) and put in a turbo (gt28rs). I'm keeping the factory ECU (1.6) to control the AC and keep factory interior wiring loom. I want to put in a second ECU from DTAfast to be in charge of the engine and performance part. I think that it should work.
I'm looking at around 350bhp as a final mark. I have some doubts however

What type of fans and intercooler size should be used? Right now the intercooler I have fitted is too big requires to cut up the collection front and I don't want to do this. The fans are too close to the exhaust also.
What inlet manifold would be best?

What is wrong with the inlet manifold you have on there? For 350bhp a rover turbo manifold will be fine with adaptor plate. What Exhaust manifold you using? I would go for a standard Focus RS item and this should clear your fans
