No offence at all mate, but that might be why its higher than you expected. Have you tried Footman James or Peter James?

I got mine down to £600 or there abouts from 2 separate companies, one with 350 excess one with £500, I'm 23 5 years NCB, no accidents, 1 SP50 and living in a good area.

Adrian Flux and A-Plan, I went with A-Plan in the end, did me a cracking deal, just let them know your a member of a few owners clubs etc and mention PF aswell can sometimes get a bit of a discount

Hi mate,

I'm 28 no points with a 380bhp cosworth and I am paying £580 with all modifications declared. I used a company called need to insure which I was recommended by a friend of mine.

All I had to do was join the RSOC and take a few photos of the car to send back to them.

The number is 01623720081 i'm sure they will be able to help you.

Good Luck

It's all down to postcode. I've got a Stockport postcode and I pay £500 fully comp on a 2002 Mondeo. I do have a claim from 2009 though...

If I put a low risk postcode in I get quoted £200-£300

I'm 28 next month with 8 years no claims

its surprising how little things can make your premium go from reasonable to rediculous. it is annoying when mates with similar driving historys, age, NCB, similar power etc get a massively cheaper qoute.
