modifying a mfi inlet manifold

i have a spare mfi inlet manifold and spacer/injector rail.
its off the car and im gonna paint it.
whilst its off im gonna port match it and smooth the ports with a dremmel.
is there anything else i can do it improve its performance ???

ps,would it be any improvement if i welded a bigger chamber on to it ??anyone tried and tested ????

I think at the moment you are best port matching it to the head, use your gasket as a template, remember the head port should always be the same size or bigger than the inlets runner not the other way round.

Ps its easy on an mfi with the head off.
Just put the injector plate on the head and match the ports, then put the injector plate on the manifold and match etcetc.
Its not so easy on an efi inlet because you don't have a sandwich plate.

Thats fair enough, its not something you can really get wrong tbh, and theres no reason why you wouldn't be able to work to the same standards as a company.
