ACCEL 140018 coilpack is a direct fit for the early type zetec coilpacks, and often used, In use this myself, and it delivers around 48,000 volts, certainly runs better and smoother than the std ford ones I was using, and only around Ł45, I bought mine from USA in Wymondham Norfolk, wasn't in stock, ordered it monday afternoon about 4pm it was ready to be picked up 10am wednesday morning all the way from states!!

Yes the ACCEL one is a direct fit, plugs straight in, on the early zetecs plug, there are 2 types of 4 cylinder plugs, one has a rounded/oval plug the other is more square, although they're both square on the outside.
Seems the us cars maybe wired opposite though, as sometimes you just need to swap 1+4 and 2+3 around that's all, ht connections easy to do.
Just be aware of the type of "tower" they have the "mk2" zetec were a lot thinner and taller, the "mk1" shorter and fatter, the accel is the shorter and fatter sort from the early zetec.
I'm totally confident the MSD one would be perfectly good, they have a very good rep, just watch the connections.
If importing from the states don't forget to watch the taxes, 4% on cost plus customs charge, parcel force charge on top, then VAT on top of all that!!
