Hi all, bit of a random thread really! keep hearing a strange noise from my S2 especially when driving round town up and down the gears hard to explain really kind of like a flappy noise like carrier bacg stuck under car or something lol? also the car seems to feel down on power slightly but that could just be me imagining things have looked over it a few times but cant see anything wrong

Thinking could it even be a burst intercooler or turbo issue or similar hear it mostly if put foot down slowly from slow speed in 2nd or 3rd but seems to go away once get higher into the rev range and turbo is well kicked in etc, still running fine tho otherwise

Turbo seems a little delayed before kick in ?

Ps does not make the noise if stationary and rev it etc

 

you checked your boost pipes? the sound could be an air leak from the boost???? which makes it slow... check the boost guage if its boosting the same. have a look underneath could be some pipe come off.. sorry dude i dont no much just suggesting
