For sale…
Volkwagen Passat 2.0 SE petrol, Saloon.
Reason for sale is I need something diesel with a hatchback for work and my bikes.
Details :
VW Passat 2.0 SE 4 door saloon.
Silver Blue.
May 2002 on an 02 plate.
2 previous owners.
HPI clear.
90500 miles. (but still in use so will go up)
FSH. (with service bills to back it up)
MOT June 12.
TAX until June 12.
The car is in very good condition inside and out but as with any nine year old car, it has a few small scratches on the bodywork but nothing serious at all and no dents or rust.
A couple of the alloys have very small kerb marks but are hardly noticeable unless you’re close up. Would be an easy refurb but I never thought it necessary. The interior is in excellent order with the only things letting it down being the gaiter round the gear lever and the drivers door pull looks a bit rough. The only things letting it down on the exterior are the fact that some scrote nicked the VW badge a few days ago, the drivers side door mirror has a scrape on the outer edge and the main body is cracked where a pheasant hit it but it is still in one piece. Everything still works and being the SE spec it has full climate control on which the A/C blows nice and cold along with ABS, Traction control, electric windows all round, the higher spec stereo option, trip computer and the nicer velour trim.
Overall I think this is a really good example of this car, the only reason I’m selling is I need a hatchback for my bikes and a diesel motor as I am using it more for work now, not just high days and holidays as before. It was serviced 11 months ago but the long life option was used and it’s only done about 5000 miles in the year I’ve had it and it’s been totally reliable. I’ll be sorry to sell it but needs must….
Price is now £2200 ono
A few piccies..

Not 100% sure if the tensioner was done at the same time but it was a VW Dealer service so if it's part of the cambelt kit it should have been done.
I'll have to look at the receipt when I get home to check that and what the mileage recorded on the receipt was.
I'll let you know later.
cheers

Cambelt and tensioner were done together by an Independant VW specialist, not a dealer as I previously said, sorry..
Anyway, date was 04/04/07 and the recorded mileage on the invoice was 55013.
cheers
