Question Remap the chip for every different cam

I purchased a custom made chip in Motorport Developments
The mapping is specific to the standard cam or can I change it for another( in a probable future...don't know yet)? if I can, what are the parameters/specs I need to check for compatibility? or do I need to remap the chip for every different cam?

Thanks for help

Ideally you should get the map altered when the cam is changed. You will have to speak to MSD regarding the specifics.

If the cam changes the airflow characteristics of the engine, then by defintion your map will require a change to the fuelling to allow for this.

If your cam doesnt change the airflow characteristicis of the engine, then its not worth fitting in the first place of course!

Standard cam is good for 200 brake happily. However the power cure gets a little peaky around 4-5000 rpm and drops off quickly ime.

Ideally if you want over 200 brake you will want larger injectors anyway, so a map change.

Edit: a different turbo too, yours is probably good for 190ish bhp.
