Someone told you misinfo then!!
Magnecor are as most top grade leads fully suppressed but as with all leads carrying very high current if you put them near enough to signal wires, or the map sensor itself there could be a problem, mine run within about 6" of the map sensor, and NO interference at all.
I would happily use Magnecor on mine again, only sold due to wanting different colour, the leads worked perfect, you'd need to virtually wrap the lead around the map to get a issue imo.

YOU were the one who asked the question, don't be surprised if someone answers, also don't be surprised if they don't answer you in future, as it seems a waste of time.

I had Magnecor when I got the car and they were terrible, maybe they were just old, but I was advised by a tuner that they were rubbish and he had nothing but trouble with them, I now have genuine Ford leads (Alot more expensive though) and not only do they look better imo they also work better, so thats my experience, as said though re interferance so long as they are supressed you shouldn't have EMI issues.

I was pointing out that a few peole on here had said that magnecour leads interfere with the map sensor, standard leads will do the same job as a£150 set of red ht leads. I wasn't asking any questions

Thank you matt!!! I knew I'd read something about them being problematic! I have the standard ford beru ones on mine and they're fine at about 350 bhp

I doubt power really comes into the equation, they merely have to transfer electrical current to the plugs, obviously the quality can effect the abilty to do this, always amazes me when you read on spec sheets when people put what HT leads they have!
