Hi quick question. I have a efi and I mfi heads but the followers seem different the one in efi have a gold coller around them and mfi I don't. I would of thought they be the same. One on my car is sticking on mfi head was just gonna swap the set over but not sure now! Amy ideas why the diff?????

 

Probably just different brands. The lifters on efi and mfi were the same. HOWEVER, you should always replace lifters and cams together as they wear together. If you swap just the one lifter it will probably kill the lobe. Some people have got away with it tho (myself included) when just chancing the one lifter

 

Na I'd change the set but cam is a power developments one so don't wanna change that one follower sticking
