The black/ dark interior that came on S2s, what spec was it and was it down to the colour of the car the determined the colour of the interior?

no the darker cloth is known as 88 spec and lighter grey the 90 spec. there is a few more differences with the cars to determin which some with a mix of both but its dependant on year not colour.

red white blue and black were made!in s2 form and white only in s1!

thats if i remember right, its funny i asked this question not long ago haha.

 

sorry my bad, wasn't on about the cloths as of much but the interior plastics, head lining ect.
As far as I knew it was mostly grey in both specs, i.e grey c-pillars plastic, b pillars, clock, sunroof cover and roof lining. You see the odd bits on ebay. want to know the best years, spec to start looking for a full interior, I know ive only just put my grey original one back in, but im so tempted

 

88spec has the darker plastics and headlining
