yeah, grazed knuckles lol, if your taking the manifold off its easier to take the altinator and shield off first then it will drop straight out the bottom, oh dont forget to disconnect the battery, good luck m8

Use 6 sided sockets and not 12's, i did one on a mk4 turbo and it just went to shit, exhaust manifold studs snapped in the head and one of the turbo nuts rounded off

wd40 the studs now and when you are ready start it for a little heat, do the exhaust studs 1st, battery off, once its lose i remove the header tank and pull it out there on the piss
the battery thing is important tho, you will drop it onto the starter

oil feed and oil return need to be done carefully as you dont want to have to buy new

If your worried about scratching owt, take it out the front.
It's only 15 mins extra to whip the front bumper off, drain rad and unbolt rad and fan & fmic if you've got one. Saves scratching rocker and chipping slam panel for very little extra work.

Of course its not too bad taking it up and out the top.

right changed the turbo, i could get mine out the top without taking off the header tank etc, Dont know how though, i had it in and out 5 times trying to make it fit as everything is bigger so i had to changed odd bits..

Anyway the conclusion is i have no boost :L Dont know why, i cant see any hoses that ive missed, although i wasnt sure where my bleed valve actually went back on, i have a actuator aswell so its weird i have a bleed valve aswell, does anyone know where the bleed valve hose goes? only thing i can see is a nipple on top of the actuator and then to the turbo?

Any help is needed and wanted!!

Joe.
