Default Wasted spark rev counter

I am considering a wasted spark conversion on my 3 door only thing putting me off is the rev counter. Has anyone got it working right and if so how, also is it possible to transplant the innards from a saff one if it don't work but keep the boost gauge. Or can it be done by any companys. Any advice appreciated

Thanks

Iv got wasted spark on my 3dr last year it was working but not reading right when the motor was running at about 6,500 it would be showing about 5,800 . well that was last year its been off the road for the winter and its back out now and now the rev counter will only rev to 2,500 and when the car is ticking over it shows 500rpm so im going to have to sort some thing as well

I run wasted spark with a perfect reading tacho, not msd though!!
The division of speedy cables in wales also does tacho calibration, that's who I used for me dads 4i when it went V8, was about 7-8 years ago I think around £55 from memory.
