The seats in my 51 plate diesel focus need updating, what is a easy upgrade?

Been looking at ST170 seats on ebay, are they much more supportive, worthwile?

 

What model do you have? If lesser than a Zetec, I.E LX then it may be worth fitting the Zetec seats.

It's a zetec, problem is I'm used to recaros

 

I fitted ST170 half leather into my 3dr Focus Collection back when I had it. Wasnt too much hassle, juse out with the old and in with the new. Had a mate make a loom so the electric height adjusment worked aswell. Have to swap the seat belts aswell as they ST seats have airbags and the orignal seats didnt.

 

Why did you swap the original seat belts?

 

All part of the wiring loom. If you don't have side airbags then you need to swap the old loom off of your old seat.

ST170 seats are nice and comfy, leather side bolsters wear very quickly though if you don't look after them.
