Would these go straight onto a 2.0 blacktop? What else would be needed to strengthen bottom end up?

Yes they go straight in. Arp rod bolts and main bolts will make a solid bottom end

Sounds good. Am only after 250-270bhp so doesn't need to be huge spec. Ill do some maths and get a few quotes and see what's what mate. Interested defo and have the cash for them if they're good for my engine. What would rod bolts n head bolts cost?
