hello all, i was wondering if it is realistically possible to have a 200sx at 21 without getting raped on insurance, i have held my licence since december 2008, one year NCB, live in birmingham, car would be kept on a drive, bus driver and obviously top bollocks alarm, reason i ask is because i love the look of them and know people my age insured in focus sts, leon cupras and bmw 330is, but i seem to have trouble finding insurance on anything

 

my mate had one at 21 and it was less than a grand

my 14a was £750 at 22

 

so it is possible then who was that with if you dont mind me asking???

 

i was with adrien flux and mine was £480fc at the age of 24. i had a s14a
shit hot car never let me down or cost out 2 maintain. get flexi water hoses for the turbo from apex performance. as standard snap all the time enjoy

 

have done an online quote with flux, just got to wait for a reply now, and thanks for the advice will do that if i can get one really want a 14a so if insurance is a go it might be time to let the escort go

 

received the reply for the quote from flux and it was well over 5300, so that rules insuring with them out, is there anywhere else that may cover me in one? because 5 grand is way to much

 

I had an S14 when I was 20, over 8 years ago - Paid less than 800 quid on the insurance and the car was a bag of wank - Didn't rate it at all

 

Mate's had one since he was 18 (s13) (he's now 21) so it's possible.
