I have taken the MAP Sensor out of my Car and I can't tell if it's a 3Bar one or not.

From memory my last 3Bar Sensor looked exactly the same as the one the Car comes out with.

Can I work out which one it is by the numbers on it?

Where the plug goes are some white numbers/letters which read:

1197(?)
APSD2/02

 

the usual sensors are :


3 bar MAP sensor : APS 05/01 (newer ones SPA 05/01)
2 bar MAP sensor : APS 02/03

 

So i'm presuming the 05/XX ones are 3Bar, and the 02/XX ones are 2Bar.
