im with footman james an they have informed me that when my policy runs out they will no longer insure it as a classic as its too modified with the turbo conversion but will happily insure it as a modifeid car for over £800 thats quite a jump from £122, i doubt he will get insured for under 2k at that age unless he still claims it to be a 3i

i told him footman james, told him to give them a call,,as iv seen a lot of people in here paying 100 to 500 pounds. and cant u get in trouble keeping it registered as a 3i not as a turbo converted escort ? someone stabbed at me on here when i asked about something similar a while back, and told me its like fraud 800 pound is a good price tho to be fair, £122 is better though

well technically it is an xr3i an yes in will make your insurance invalid should u not tell them its got a engine modification if somethin were to happen so its not advisable, and no 800 dont seem like much but when u consider im 29 trs old, never had an accident and lisense for 11 yrs an i do 3k max a year in it i think its a fookin liberty

I've just moved to "need 2 insure". 25years old, 3 points, 4 years NCB all mods declared up to 170bhp - £500, compared to the £870 renewal my old company wanted that's a great price.
