Default Help needed - 1.25 Zetec Fiesta running on 2 cylinders

Hi,

bought a 2000 1.25 Zetec Fiesta with suspected snapped timing belt other week.

Upon stripping it down, belt was fine and fairly new and bottom pulley was tight (believe this can be a problem as its a free running pulley) however when turning over, sounded like no compression. Plenty oil too so ruled out hydraulic tappets too.

Stripped head off just to check and everything seemed ok so back together with new gasket etc, timing has been set up with the proper tools and it fired up but only on 2 cylinders. Getting a spark to all 4 plugs, plugs were also new but also tried a good used set too, but still only on 2. Next thoughts are towards injectors possibly blocked or goosed but any other advice/suggestions very welcome.

Cheers for any help.

suppose it could be mate, we had a look over head when it was off but suppose its hard to tell, thought would quickly build it up and see if it ran.

did the belt not actually snap then? did you check the timing before you removed the head as it may have slipped? first thing i would do is a compression test

As above, easiest thing to do next would be a compression test.
