Hi to all. im half way through my underbody resto and im wanting to know what primer to use on it. ive read about zinc primer, red oxide and etch primer but couldnt find out which one is the best. can anyone tell me please.

 

Depends wot top coat your gonna put on and the
finish you want.
Personally i,d etch prime it
or use a good isolator then grey primer.

 

f714 etch primer.

 

im going to underseal it with 121 underseal and then paint over it. what is f714 etch primer and were can u get it from.

 

etch primer should be used on bare metal 1st
