hi owned my p100 a couple of months now and want to convert it to 4x108 using a capri axle but i am unsure of what this will do to me speedo

the capri axle i am going to use (i think lol) is out of a laser so its a 3.75:1 diff whereas the p100 has a 4.65:1 i think

any help would be great thanks

 

did this on my own p100 last year and the speedo was fine mate

 

what axle did you actually use been thinking of 2.8 lsd but its only a 1.8td so don't really think it warrants this

 

a put the one out of a 280 brooklands that was gettin broken, mines was also a 1.8td and the diff didnt afect the speedo at all mate,

Of course the diff, or rather as asked in this case affects the speedo accuracy, as I assume the speedo is driven from the gearbox output.
Changing ratios will then affect your speedo accuracy, if you put a higher ratio(lower number) diff in there the speedo will under read,

On this site just put in any combo of gearing you want, tyres sizes, gear ratio, diff ratio etc and get the exact answer.
