Invited over to the Duke Of Morecumbes estate this afternoon for tea & cupcakes, whilst being shown his vast collection of out buildings I discovered this wonderful little project on the go, it's a MK1 with a 2.0 Pinto OHC feed via two Webber 45's.

Didn't like to disturb the owner too much as he was rather busy, but he was agreeable to a brief chat about his plans for the car, which involve a small amount of welding & getting the car ready for road & track use.

Always nice to see these grass roots type things going on, the owner is tackling things in what I perceive to be the *correct way, & although it is in fact early days into this project, I can see a successful conclusion on the horizon.
