Thinking of selling/breaking/swapping
Due to the arrival of our little boy 3 weeks ago I thought I would be able to cope driving the veccy estate with little Ryan but my car just sits there doin nothing and I love driving modding cleaning it but due to it having shitty lap belts in the rear means unless the wife sits in the back all the time Ryan can't come in it so we can't go out in it I have spent so much money on it and if I had the money would buy a series 2 and swap some parts over then sell this but as I don't only option is to sell whole brake and keep some parts or swap for the right series 2 :-( sad times
-new ap paddle clutch fitted
-burton power short shifter fitted
-cosworth 330mm front brakes fitted
-mud flaps fitted
-new carpet fitted
-roof cleaned treated and water proofed twice for good measure
-10mm quad core ht leads fitted
-charge carrier highly polished along with other bits
-rocker cover powder coated
-alarm sorted
-electric roof sorted
-roof cover brought
-new pilkington heated screen fitted
things still left to do
-source decent rs7's diamond cut
-respray certain panels on car
-start to restore underside of car
-fit new jvc head unit

Did this used to be a birds car?
If so was at a rolling road that it attended in 2007 and it went really well.

Looking good, What sort of plans do you have?
How is it running after your setup at Grove Garage?
Yep thats the one, it had to go in my place as my car was not ready in time.
Was only a 1.6 CVH back then for the RR day.
The Engine now is a Area Six 2.1 Ze-VH

Not sure but I would obviously want it to be 100% safe not bodged it would be a massive shame to break the car and I don't want to do it but I see the only way forward is a series 2 and I would have to break this to raise the funds unless I find 1 that I really like and the owner is willing to swap but to be honest the spec on this is to good for a straight swap

We went out Saturday and Sunday and both days I took the cabby car keys but obviously remembered we can't go out in it I get a lift to work every day so the mrs has the veccy and weekends is the only time I get to drive it but now can't due to Ryan :-((( so unless normal seatbelts can be fitted which I'm guessing they can't I'm after a nice series 2

There must be a way of fitting belts..... its just a case of working out how... where does a s2 belt mount to in a s2???. Lots of convertables have rear belts.maybe even look at something like a mk5 cab see what they've got.
