Im looking for a water pump for my saff cossie 4x4.

Ive been to 3 car parts shops now and im having no luck.I dont really wanna pay a fortune for one like the ones on ebay at the moment.

The pump is only leaking slighty when its been left for a few days.

Any help would be great.Even if you have one you wanna sell just give me a pm please.

Glen are you sure its the pump?

I had a leak from that area before and it was a short piece of pipe that comes out the top of the pump mate it cost about Ł5 for a piece of hose problem solved

Have done a couple on my mates cars so must be common.

Im sure its coming from the pump. It only leaks when the car has been stood for a few days then after that its ok.

 

there is a tell tale hole on the bottom of the pump, check there first, the msd price is a good one btw, I paid more than that for my last one a few years ago

Doubt you'll find a good cheap one mate.

4wd are a lot more expensive than 2wd's.

I have a pump here that I took off mine as I'm in the middle of a full re-build.

I dare not sell it as I think it has a slight leak also

Thanks to the msd crew. Pump arrived today at 12.30. Will have to sort out a weekend when im not working and fit the pump and the timing belt and tensioner.
