Default Paying for a car with Paypal

I have someone wanting to buy my car on saturday and pay by Paypal.

Is this safe as it is for £9,000. Also will it cost me anything to withdraw etc.

I am not familiar with Paypal so will be using my girlfriends account. Any advise would be appreciated.

Cheers

Can of worms.
Huge charges.
Can be charged back at a later date.

You would have to be mad to do that.

Even if it was legitimate, I would still want £9,000 cash in hand. Not worth any risk.

dont think id let someone pay 9k on paypal, buy the time he`s got your car and got home he can cancel the payment, you try trace him through his "girlfriends" account that no longer is there! I wouldnt trust that fella! cash in £20`s and loads of £50`s id like to see.!

what you can do is get payment confirmed when you hand over the documents etc. then he can't dispute having paid.
although the 2% charge to withdraw will hit you.
