hello...
can anyone tell me which way these are meant to be fitted.. they are grooved but its the direction of the vanes im wondering about.. one way looks to spin air out and away and the other as if to pull air in..? any help would be great...

Direction of the grooves are irrelevant.
The direction of the internal vanes are what matters. On the assumption the vanes are not radial/straight, then they should be facing so they are swept backward relation to the direction of movement.
