Default Audi A3 3.2 Quattro S-Line...Any good?

As above, anyone got any experience with these at all?

Looking to get rid of my fiesta zetec-s soon for something classier and a bit more power and I've been looking at these, anything to look out for on them?

Parkers say they are 250bhp, 6.3 to 60, 28mpg. I would be looking at the 6 speed manual.

Any help appreciated

Better off with the 2.0t, faster after a remap, less thirsty

What year? as has been said, the dont feel rapid but would put that down to power delivery and also build quality as they feel solid and less tinny.

Something around the 55 plate onwards have beautiful trim on them, especially the S-lines.

I borrowed my mates last week, Yep its quick but its not really exciting IMHO not for the amount of fuel it uses anyway!

Get the 2.0ltr TFSI one instead, easily remapped and quicker and simpler to mod. The V6 is thirsty and doesn't feel that fast, mate at work had one averaged 17-23mpg.....

I have the 2.0ltr TFSI S-line A3, brilliant trim spec solidly built. But they need frequent oil changes as I found recently after a garage missed a common fault with the pick up pipe getting blocked. My engine needed a rebuild.

Thanks guys, yeah I assumed mpg wouldn't be great.

I've driven a 2.0 tdi 170 before and that felt quite nippy for a diesel, felt solid over bumps as well unlike my fiesta which rattles and sounds like it's going to fall apart!
