A fairly good sill on a sierra needs one patch which is no problem but it swole up with rust on the lip. seems a lot of work to cut this all out and have it looking standard again. but if i dont cut it out im afraid it'll be rusted in no time again. How does the rest of you deal with this?

only way to ensure u rid the affected area of it is to cut it out im afraid m8

 

cut it out. could even reuse the bits or parts of if in good nick once the rust is gone.
