Sierra is bigger than a Focus, so no if you only have 2" to spare then it's not going to fit.

Should think Focus is around 14 foot at the most (So far as I know FRS is no different)

I find that hard to believe to be honest, as that would mean the Focus is the same size as a Mondeo (Excluding MK4) effectively?

See what they say but I just can't see it, bearing in mind the Focus MK1 is 164 inches, this would mean the MK2 Focus is a foot longer which isn't correct I suspect it's a few inches if anything. Interestingly it also states the FRS is 4 inches longer than the MK2.

Keep us posted though as I would be interested to know if it does fit or not

My Mk2 ST wouldn't fit into my garage with a storage unit at the end, and my old st170 fitted ok. Had to take the unit out and my ST just fits, so it is definately longer!

By looking at the two together there I can see the Saph is longer also in that pic the Saph is further back as I see what your saying though the Focus is taller and about the same in width I should think.

We also have similar cars bar the colour

The Focus is a fair bit shorter than the 3dr cos with the Focus in my garage I can easily walk round it but with the 3dr its a bit of a squeeze!

As I say I should think the Focus is around 14FT at the most so a few inches more than the previous Focus, a Mondeo is what replaced the Sierra and so comparable in size but even this was smaller, the Sierra is also quite "Boxy". The Focus replaced the Escort and so a hatchback, the Sierra a saloon.

But if OP'S garage is 15FT then it will just fit.

In January 1985, the brochure had the following lengths:
3/5 door 173.5" Estate 177.4", except
Ghia - 5 door 174.2" Estate 178.0"
XR4i 3 door - 175.6" l

I don't suppose the 3dr Cosworth will be very different from the XR4i.

it will defo fit inside 15ft

i was amazed at how small a sierra actually is compared to newer cars my 3 series is harder to get around in the garage over the sierra and the coupe boot and rear leg room is shocking in bmw, where does it all go as sierra has a long bonnet

i dont think a 3 door can be longer than a saph,im sure i read the estate and saph are identical length and hatchback 2 in shorter

Not true, hatch is 14' 5", Saph is 14' 7" , the boot is also a CU foot bigger.

By a few inches at the most and wider, yes Mk4 Mondeo is effectivley now the size of a Granada!

Sierra is bigger than a 3 series, I should think the new E90 may be similar in length but dosen't have much space inside it as you say, Ford cars always tend to be big, compare them to there equivilant rivals, the MK4 Mondeo is a prime example of this.

You are correct though Saph is 2" longer (As I state above) but the Estate is longer than the Saph again by about the same amount.
