Default Ford Focus TDCI 2004 Glow Plugs

Hi there I have just had my glow plugs replaced and appear to have lost the ability to accelerate. Any ideas please?

We had the same problem some time ago , but unless it has had a recalibration at the same time do not think it would be the same problem , the boffins at ford decided to put new software in that prevented the car accelerating if it sensed that the glow plugs where still on due to the risk of melting them , glow plugs are used a little more often than some people think , if the incomming air is sensed to be cold they can come on with no glow light to aid driveability just to help burn , but they only come on for VERY brief periods , if the pcm senses they have stuck on due to a relay fault it prevents boost so stops them over heating and causing more dramas.

What reason did you change the glow plugs for , might give us a bit more idea of what was going on , if it was just poor starting then it is weird unless something has not been put back on properly ?
