Well I thought I would share my garage spectacle with you all...

Now please its nothing special and im sure it does not measure up to all you builders out there but me and my uncle did it over the last 4 months of the year and its perfect for what i need.

Its not finished yet but I thought I would share some pics.

Cost a few quid in the end aswell... Far more than I expected and ive still got to do the roof!

Problem is im getting annoyed with not having anything to put in it so having trouble spending on it if you see what i mean.

Anyway here are the after shots, As said not finished yet!

well there you go, thought you may be interested, Plans are new roof, Finally get compressor. Finish painting walls and job done until I can get a real project in there!

needs a lo more painting to tidy it up. Especially on the outside, ive just been lazy as its been far too cold and lost motivation really.

It is great to have it and I am chuffed with how its turned out compared to how it was...

Fair play, would make a nice little workshop when finished having the one room seperated. Could be your office or a sole tools room etc...

Bit pointless though without a project to work on so i have not bothered!

My garage is full of shit and is constructed of rotting wood and cracked asbestos panels so it's very difficult to repair (can't drill or screw into the asbestos and the wood is too rotten to hold screws and nails). Looking forward to getting all the jobs done on the house so that i can then start on the garden and replace the garage.

im just building mine as we speak 24ft x 20ft all timber if you ever need any cheap sheets or timber let me know i always come across it.
ill get some pics of mine soon.
because i live in a listed building i was so limited what i can do but mine has cost very little to build just the roof was the most expensive i got a mate to sarnafil it as felting would be annoying doing every 3 years and i can tile it as i have a shallow pitch.

what is the width and length of the double garage section

I've just got a rented lock up close to my work (Handy when I need to use tools I have at work, but not handy for much else!)

Not sure on sizes, but its big enough to have some shelves/lockers at the back and still have room to get around the car to work on it.

That's a very well thought out garage, Matt.

I'd like to get one built at our house, been looking at those concrete sectional garages, quite have my eye on something 24'6" x 9'6" - I'm kinda restricted on width sadly
