hi all.

ive got to change the steering arm on my sisters mk4 fiesta (1.25 with PAS) Ive removed the track rod end, and steering gaiter. Butttt...and its a big but!!.. the new steering arm has a hex on the end that screws into the rack to undo/tighten it. the old one is completly round...

Any tricks or ideas??

for any that were wondering,,,the answer was just a man size pair of mouldgrips and squeeze as hard as possible while turning!! job done

 

You beat me to it, nicknamed "drumsticks" for obvious reasons, don't forget a tracking check/adjust.
