Default help with MK2 RS2000 Bosch starter - ATTN - IMA

Hello.

I've been advised by GAZW on the RS MKII Club board that a user on here, IMA, might be able to help me with a Bosch starter on my RS2000.

I'm after a Bosch motor, to replace the crappy Halfords one that's currently in the car - it appears to have died.

I understand that the Bosch motor isn't listed for the RS2, but that it's shorter bodied and a better motor than the standard fit Lucas model. With it not being listed, I'm finding it hard to get the part number.

I'd be really grateful for any help.

Thanks.

Chris.
