Default FAO anyone who has done the clutchpedal mod

How the hell do you get the pin out that secures the clutch and brake pedal into the box? I presume you remove the clip and it the goes in the direction of the throttle pedal?? Mine moves about a mil and thats it

There's a couple of circlips, pop those out and it should wiggle out.

Btw. clutch pedal mod is not always necessary. I am running ap-racing clutch kit with standard pedal setup .. no problems. In fact, clutch mod makes horrible rubber ball feeling.

There is one on the left hand side on the end of the pin which I have removed. Where is the other?

Ther biting point was about 1cm off the floor and you had to stamp the pedal to the floor to get gears

"rubber ball feeling" is because you didnt refit the spring that takes up the slack in the cable

If you follow the instructions on the AP website it shows using the old quadrant to pedal spring to take up any slack in the cable by hooking it to the side of the pedal box and then the clutch pedal, before i did this the pedal was spongy as fuck! lol

Cant find about the spring on their site. The instructions have maybe changed. Does the spring then just hold the pedal all the way out when not applied taking up the play in the cable?
