hey. im selling my mk5 gray rs2000. ive owned the car over a year!


end of last year i was driving around a island and a van pulled out of me. the crash was around 20mph. ive drove the car back pull it on my drive.the car drove fine, no pulling. i was going to strip the car and sell it bit by bit but due to having no time to work on it and going to sell it on. this is it as it stands





good points;
mint interior (no rips, no holes)
shells mint (bar front end),
under sealed,
new clifford 6.5 alarm £365
engine starts and runs
mot ends in september
4 wheels are mint(spear wheel needs trc)
car has 94k

the front end.

Doesn't look too bad really,and a few of these been broken up over the years now as well.

Was the rad etc ok?ie no mechanical damage?

The wheels look pretty central to the arches as well so you might be lucky and find the leg hasn't crumpled,which is very common on these,although a piece of piss to repair even if it has.

I have a taxed and moted Corsa with pas 1.2 16v that I could do a deal on if interested?

Might be a week or two delay though!!!!

 

well whats happen was the fooking van hit the area by the headlight and broken the engine mount thats connected to the gear box. i know the gear box needs replacing. i havent looked around the car in detail. your more than welcome to come and look over it if you want.

I loved this car. Still do! I would go as far as saying probley the only standard mk5 r2000 in the west middlands.

Well there's no rush is getting it gone, where it is now It can stay. I'm in two minds if its worth fixing it up as my heart isn't really into it. As I want a mk2 or mk1 escort.

Firstly, is the damage recorded?

Secondly, you started a thread a couple of months back saying your RS2000 needed new sills. Is that still the case?

 

Yes the damage is recorded. And yes the sill was fixed by a local garage. It passed the mot. Then I got it undersealed.
