well this fiesta came my way and im pretty sure its stem seals but would like some constructive advice

its a 2002 1.4 duratec petrol

after idling if you rev it plumes out oily smoke, when driving nothing is evident, aparantly someone has already tried some of the stop smoke stuff

im thinking if rings it would smoke all the time?

other things i would like to check are things like breathers pcv valves etc

just dont want to go wipping off the head without trying everything else first

any advice please on what were to check etc, only just got the car havent even lifted the bonnet yet

It's the old zetec-se engine and are prone for valve stem seals so really wouldn't be surprised if it was this!
