Engine Loom fitting...
I have here an 88` 2wd Wiring loom here which i am trying to install into a J reg sapphire. Obviously it doesn`t look to be a straight fit, so, can anyone tell me what colours of the loom represent?

red/blue permanent live
black switched live
black/red fuel pump output from ecu
brown/white temp GAUGE
brown/red air con going to relay taped to side of loom on 2wd looms

I`m presuming the fuel pump wire is a positive, and not a negative? And i don`t have air con, so is the brown/red wire redundant?
